What is Diabesity?

Diabetes is a chronic condition that affects how your body metabolizes sugar for energy. Diabetes causes glucose to accumulate to unhealthy levels in your bloodstream. This takes us to the endocrine system. People do not realize what is the endocrine system until they realize the consequences. Endocrine glands release hormones that control slow-moving processes in the body, this produces disorders, the most common one is type 2 diabetes. This causes that endocrine system release hormones, obesity can be produced because hormones are one factor in obesity. The hormones leptin, insulin, sex hormones and growth hormone influence appetite, metabolism and body fat distribution. So it can be said that obese people have all this levels of hormones  that encourage the abnormal metabolism and the accomulation of fat in the body. We need to know this to beware of the problem, to know how it affects us in our everyday life and to take the correct preventions to avoid diabesity, because this is 100% preventable.
