The Renal and Reproductive Systems in Type 2 Diabetes

The kidneys are one of a pair of organs located in the right and left side of the abdomen they remove waste products from the blood and produce urine so this document will tell specifically what are the kidneys, what are their functions and what will happen if the kidneys fail due to diabetes. The reproductive system is a system of organs within an organism which work together for the purpose of reproduction.  This document also is going to explain what the reproductive system do and how works in our body including the disorder on childbirth and pregnancy and finally the erectile function.

First the kidneys are organs that play key roles in body function, not only by filtering the blood and getting rid of waste products, but also by balancing levels of electrolyte levels in the body, controlling blood pressure, and stimulating the production of red blood cells. This takes us to kidney failure. Kidney failure can occur from an acute situation or from chronic problems. In acute renal failure, kidney function is lost rapidly and can occur from a variety of insults to the body. The list of causes is often categorized based on where the injury has occurred. Causes of these could be sepsis, medications and rhabdomyolysis. Now in the part of the of diabetic neuropathy it can be said that is a damage to nerves in the body that occurs due to high blood sugar levels from diabetes which can cause nerve injuries such as nerves in the skulls and nerves from spinal column. Finally its symptoms are very specific and they include feeling full after eating only a small amount of food, nausea, constipation, or diarrhea.
Now this takes us to the reproductive system which is a system of organs within an organism which work together for the purpose of reproduction. First of all, talking about the reproductive system it can be said that the risks of maternal diabetes are developing fetus include Miscarriage, growth restriction, growth acceleration, fetal obesity ,mild neurological deficits. Mild neurological and cognitive deficits in offspring, including increased symptoms of ADHD, impaired fine and gross motor skills, and impaired explicit memory performance Still, having diabetes type I or II has a 2-3 fold increase in risk of birth defects. Babies born to diabetic mothers are often larger than normal. This is because blood glucose passes directly from you to your baby, so if you have high blood glucose levels your baby will produce extra insulin to compensate. Finally in the part of the erectile dysfunction which is the inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse could be said that can be a total inability to achieve an erection, an inconsistent ability to do so, or  to sustain only brief erections. These can happen when a person has diabetes when any of the sequence the erection needs is disrupted, the sequence includes nerve impulses in the brain, spinal column, and area around the penis, and response in muscles, fibrous tissues, veins, and arteries.

All in all, diabetes and high glucose blood affects you. Greatly. The kidneys are the ones that filter and clean your blood. The high glucose on your blood, caused by diabetes, affects them. Without your kidneys, your blood will be unpurified, and eventually die. Diabetes will also affect your genitals, if you’re a man. It will be harder for you to have an erection last, and if you’re female, your kid may have some kinds of diseases in his/her body. So, its better to take care of yourself while you can, and avoid little eating pleasures so you don’t suffer from this diseases in the not-so-far-future.
